Premier Pitching & Performance Names MLB Veteran John Means as Champion Ambassador
St. Louis, MO — December 14, 2025 — Premier Pitching & Performance is proud to announce Major League Baseball pitcher John Means as the newest Champion Ambassador for the brand, formalizing a long-standing relationship built on trust, development, and shared standards of excellence.
Means has trained with Premier Pitching & Performance for years, dating back to his 2019 MLB All-Star selection and historic no-hitter on May 5, 2021, making this partnership a natural evolution rather than a new beginning. His commitment to preparation, process, and continuous improvement mirrors the core philosophy Premier Pitching & Performance brings to every athlete it serves.
“John represents exactly what the Champion Program stands for,” said Brett Graves, President/CEO at Premier Pitching & Performance. “He’s elite not only because of what he’s accomplished on the field, but because of how he prepares, how he carries himself, and how seriously he takes the long-term development of his craft. We’ve been fortunate to work alongside him for years, and we’re proud to now officially call him a Champion Ambassador.”
The Champion Ambassador Program was created to recognize athletes and coaches who authentically embody Premier Pitching & Performance’s values and — discipline, accountability, and sustainable performance. The word ‘champion’ resonates with every athlete. Its something we all aspire to become. However, when ‘champion’ is used as a verb, it means to advocate for a cause. As a Champion Ambassador, Means will collaborate with the Premier Pitching & Performance team to help educate and inspire the next generation of pitchers through shared insight, mentorship, and example.
“I’ve trusted Premier Pitching & Performance for a long time,” said Means. “They’ve been part of my process well before some of the biggest moments of my career. The way they approach assessment, development, and long-term arm health aligns with how I believe pitchers should train. Becoming a Champion Ambassador felt like a natural fit.”
Premier Pitching & Performance continues to redefine pitching development through the Comprehensive Assessment Approach and individualized training model designed to support both performance and longevity. The addition of John Means as a Champion Ambassador further reinforces the organization’s commitment to building elite pitchers the right way — through process, precision, and purpose.
